Maddy's 9th bday

Maddy gained a bike and another candle for her birthday. Subsequently she lost nearly a pint!

Summer Camp

Chaquella and Maddy had a lot of fun on their summer trip this year the following are some of the highlights.

The Shenandoah

The girls on the Steamship Authority Ferry heading out to Marhta's Vineyard, and the 108' topsail schooner the SHENANDOAH, where they spent a week this summer.

Martha's Vineyard before departure

While on vacation at the Vineyard both Maddy and Chaquella got CRABS!!

Excitement cannot be contained!!

Once on board the ship the girls where truly excited about the spacious accomodations and the shower and head facilities!

BUNKMATES!

The girls standing behind Chaquella has just been informed that she is sharing the 8'X6' cabin with both Madaline and Chaquella! The next photo in the series shows her holding her mother and crying, it was very sad.

Life abord

Once on board the girls setteled into the daily routine of chores and play. Now if only I didnt have to pay someone $800 a week to get them to do that. Finally if you take a look at the curley blond chap note he is the First Mate on the Shenandoah! I never saw the captain as he was out of site. Kinda instills confidence in the whole thing doesn't it.
